As a Security Officer - TWIC Credential Patrol in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy government transportation location supporting daily operations through unarmed patrols and security-related monitoring. You will complete routine rounds maintain a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity assist with access control and respond to incidents with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and vendors by following Allied Universal site-specific protocols and completing security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals passenger areas docks and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow assisting with directions queue management and identification checks as required by post orders.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents patrol activities and unusual conditions and communicate timely updates to supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• Have a TSA issued TWIC.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
