Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy transportation location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and assist travelers and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet while working with a team that values integrity teamwork and a caring culture. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers employees and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals corridors gates baggage areas parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas by checking credentials verifying authorization and documenting entries and exits in accordance with posted requirements.
- Respond to incidents alarms and service calls in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and/or local first responders as directed.
- Complete detailed reports on patrol observations incidents and unusual activity and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have CPR certification preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
