The Role
As a History ECT you will:
Teach high-quality well-planned History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Explore diverse periods interpretations and historical enquiry with students.
Contribute to a collaborative Humanities team and share best practice.
Support enrichment through trips historical projects and academic clubs.
Receive strong mentoring and structured ECT induction.
Requirements
Completing a PGCE or equivalent and holding QTS.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for History.
Ability to motivate inspire and challenge pupils of varying abilities.
Reflective resilient and committed to improvement.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
