Whats the role
As an Associate Director youll join Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) within the Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division supporting the Structured Finance business. The role requires a unique hybrid blend of expertise in credit risk securitisation and First Line Risk / Assurance skills.
Ideally based in Sydney or Melbourne youll be clientfacing and accountable for leading customer and portfolio reviews (due diligence) in line with Structured Finance Debt Product Policy and Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) requirements. Reviewing outcomes are a key input into origination servicing capability and risk management across the securitisation value chain.
Youll deliver outcomes safely by applying strong credit judgement and assurance practices make an impact through clear practical insights and own reviews endtoend - from planning and fieldwork through to reporting and stakeholder engagement.
