About the role
This full-time Contracts Manager role is a key position within NEC Australia Pty Ltd based in Darwin Northern Territory. As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end contract management processes ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled efficiently and in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
What youll be doing
- Manage the drafting negotiation and execution of commercial contracts including service level agreements procurement contracts and partnership agreements
- Monitor contract performance and compliance identifying and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with contractual terms
- Develop and maintain standard contract templates policies and procedures to streamline the contracting process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal procurement and finance to ensure a cohesive and effective contract management approach
- Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the companys contract management practices
What were looking for
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in contract management preferably within the Information & Communication Technology industry
- Excellent understanding of contract law negotiation and dispute resolution techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks
- Proficient in the use of contract management software and tools
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams
