Job Summary

Description of Role:

As a supervisor within the business you will be responsible for the individual tax compliance requirements of our clients with international mobile assignees (expatriates). You will be allocated a client portfolio and required to collaborate with the managers on these accounts and support them with the overall management of the client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

The following will be your main responsibilities in respect of the client portfolio allocated to you:

Completion of personal income tax returns (Annual and Provisional)
Attending to all other compliance related matters such as disputes ceasing of tax residency with SARS
Managing and meeting all SARS tax filing deadlines in respect of your client portfolio
The draft of opinions in relation to personal tax matters and expatriate tax matters in respect of your clients
Attend and support your senior team members on all client meetings and tax briefings with individuals
Attend and support your managers with all administrative matters in respect of your clients such as billings

Skills and Attributes for success:

- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

- Be able to demonstrate excellent reporting skills both verbally and in writing

- Have strong excel skills

- Have strong ability to multi-task must be able to manage multiple requests from various people

- Be able to work under pressure

- Be able to adhere to deadlines

- Be well organised systematic worker attention to detail is important

- Be able to work well within a team and independently

To qualify for the role you must have:

- Have a Tertiary Qualification (degree or diploma) with accounting taxation as subjects

- A Higher Diploma in Tax and/or Hons in Tax would be an advantage

- At least 3 years of individual tax compliance experience
