Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Johannesburg. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations managing a team of warehouse staff and ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of goods to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all warehouse operations including receiving storing and shipping goods - Train supervise and motivate warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks - Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts and records - Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency - Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment - Develop and implement procedures to improve warehouse operations and reduce costs - Communicate with clients regarding delivery schedules and resolve any issues or concerns - Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activities including inventory levels productivity and any incidents or delays - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve warehouse operations Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role - Strong leadership and communication skills - Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a warehouse setting - Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment - Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends as needed We offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for career growth and development within our company.
