Permanent Position: Warehouse Supervisor Company Overview: Msuez Uk is a leading provider of logistics and supply chain solutions in Cape Town South Africa. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including inventory management shipping and receiving and staff supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee daily operations of the warehouse including receiving storing and shipping products - Ensure efficient and accurate inventory management including conducting regular audits and cycle counts - Monitor and maintain warehouse safety and security protocols - Train and supervise warehouse staff including setting goals providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations - Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery - Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity - Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues or delays in shipments - Create and maintain reports on warehouse activities including inventory levels shipping and receiving and employee productivity - Identify and implement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations and reduce costs - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as local and national regulations Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse management or a similar role - Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite - Knowledge of warehouse safety and security procedures - Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company - A supportive and collaborative work environment - Training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge If you are a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for warehouse operations we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
