A bit about your role

This role requires extensivehands-onsecurity experienceacross all aspects of security (including technical) with a strong focus ondelivering key outcomes to timescopeand budget.

You will lead the team that acts as thenexus between the Security Group and the broader nbn organisation enabling prioritised optimised andwell governeddelivery of continually evolving cyber security capabilities.

As a senior leader withinEnterprise Security Enablement (ESE) you are accountable for translating strategicobjectivesinto actionable delivery plans strengthening deliverygovernanceand reporting and driving maturity uplift acrossenterprise-widesecurity capabilities. The role ensures initiatives deliver measurablehigh-qualityoutcomes that strengthen organisational resilience.

A bit about you

We are seeking a seasoned cyber security leader with strong programme and delivery management experience in large complex enterprise environments. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of relevant frameworks and regulatory obligations includingASD ISM PSPF Essential Eight SOCI TSSR NIST CSF and NIST SP 800-53 supported by recognised industry certifications.

This role requires advanced communication influencing planning and organisational skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be recognised for aligning stakeholders to technical outcomes removing inefficiencies and duplication in delivery processes and ensuring securityobjectivesremain central to enterprise strategy.

Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government security clearance (minimum NV1).
