As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Response in Westlake Village CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine patrols and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support residents and guests with clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures community-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout the residential community including entrances common areas amenities and perimeter noting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control vehicle and pedestrian entry by verifying authorization following visitor and delivery procedures and directing traffic as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disputes noise complaints suspicious activity and medical situations and request additional assistance when needed.
• Complete detailed patrol and incident reports maintain shift logs and communicate observations and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 years of security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
