DescriptionAs a member of the Riott Media Sales team the Sr. Program Specialist will report to the Riott MediaMVP of Sales and perform sales team go-to-market and support tasks project-oriented functions and administrative tasks for the growth of the media network and marketing capabilities strategies Marriott International is pursuing. The role will primarily support Marriotts new commerce media network Riott Media but also support cross-functional work between Riott Media and the audience strategy data activation and marketing operationsteams..
This role requires an interest in being a key support pillar for the growth of the marketing capabilities areas and RiottMedia and in particularits sales function.
The candidate should be naturally curious andbe interestedin learning about media sales theMarTech/AdTechecosystem marketingoperations and media network landscape.
Education and Experience Required
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Marketing or related major
- 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong project managementand organizationskills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Professional demeanor capable of expressing confident independent judgment.
- Strong communicationskills both verbal and written
- Proficiencyin Excel PowerPoint MSTeamsand other software for simple editing
Education and ExperiencePreferred
- Knowledge or experience in digital media or sales role
- Runexisting reports from sales and marketing tracking systems
- Work acrossteamto collect andtrack downrelevant updates for communications.
- Support VP of Sales and other VPs of the Riott Media and Marketing Capabilities team with calendar and expense management meeting scheduling meetingnotesand content.
- Coordinate schedule and prepare for team group and other general meetings scheduling conference rooms preparing agenda items prior distribution of materials coordinating visitors access room set up audio visual equipment set up conference line initiation and food and beverage arrangements.
- Make travel arrangements and coordinate logistics including transportation reservations and lodging expense reimbursements.
- Processes invoicesmaintainingtracking of processing status and payments.
- Supportsteamsaccess to critical systems.
Additional Responsibilities
- Informs updates and provides information to supervisors co-workers and subordinates by telephone in written form e-mail MSTeamsor in personin a timely manner.
- Attends andparticipatesin all relevant meetings.
- Presents ideas expectations and information in a concise organized manner.
- Usesproblem solvingmethodologyfor decision making and follow up.
- Maintains positive working relations with internal customers and department managers.
- Manages time effectively and conducts activities in an organized manner.
- Performs other reasonable duties as assigned bymanager.
