About the Role
Our client is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate full-cycle ocean import shipments from origin countries to final destinations manage import documentation and customs clearance communicate with carriers and agents and maintain shipment records.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle of ocean import shipments from origin country to final destinations
- Prepare and review import documentation for import customs clearance
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) FMC and other regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with carriers customs brokers overseas agents and internal departments
- Track trace and monitor the progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
- Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry in the internal system
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics freight forwarding or ocean import operations
- Solid knowledge of ocean freight documentation Incoterms and U.S. customs processes
- Strong organizational time management and communication skills
- Korean & English bilingual
- Proficient in MS Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
- Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred)

$60000 $70000 per year depending on experience and qualifications
