Job Summary
We have an exciting role on offer within our Community Learning service as a General Teaching Assistant Alternative Provision.
This post is a key function within the Community Learning Service part of Middlesbrough Council. The purpose of this post is to assist and support teaching within the Alternative 14-16 Provision at Community Learnings Lingfield College.
The successful applicant will:
- Support the teacher in managing the pupils and classroom.
- Establish good relationships with pupils and support all learning for learners with individual identified barriers to learning (SEN).
- Promote the inclusion and interaction of all pupils and engage in activities.
- Provide IAG to learners.
- Promote Health and Wellbeing and comply with all practices and policies including Health & Safety Safeguarding Prevent Duty Learner Support and Equality and Diversity.
