Head Varsity Football Coach
Essential Functions:
The head varsity football position is responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Position motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. Works closely with student athletes to develop good character on and off the field. Assists teachers counselors and other school personnel with student athlete attendance academics and behavior in and out of football season.
Requirements:
All head varsity coaches shall have valid Arizona Teaching Certificate Arizona Coaching Certificate or have completed the National Federation of State High School Associations Level I Certification online at within forty-five (45) days from date of hire.
Head Coaches shall be approved in accordance with the personnel policies of the school district and in accordance with the Arizona Revised Statutes. This certification shall be on file or recorded in the office of the principal or his/her designee. Any and all salary or remuneration shall be from the school district by which the coach is employed and no salaryor remuneration for school coaching shall be from any outside source.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
