Job Summary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Springfield School District seeks individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the school.
- Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility.
- Specifically we are looking for staff members with: Belief in the mission and vision of the school
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Relentless commitment to raising academic achievement of all student-athletes
- Organize and attend all practices and contests
- Ability to motivate students
- Ability to individualize instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of rules and strategies
- Experience as a coach preferred
- Experience as a player preferred
- Enthusiasm for the sport
- Coaching certifications preferred (NFHS)
- Ability to work effectively with students staff parents administrators and public
- Maintain high level of ethical behavior
- Available to work a flexible schedule including afternoon/evening/weekends
- Carry out other duties as assigned by athletic director that are sport or coaching related
