Finance Performance Lead Bucharest

YOUR MISSION

This role is at the center of decision-making where you will directly influence how Glovo invests and grows in the market. With full P&L ownership youll not only manage the financials but also provide strategic insights that will guide the companys direction. 

THE JOURNEY

• Develop and/or maintain insightful management reports and analysis about the overall company performance and provide professional advice in relation to operational performance
• Gather input from multiple departments and translat  them into budgets forecasts and long-term plans defining and monitoring financial & operational targets to steer companys performance
• Be involved in management control: definition of procedures and the design of budget processes
• Prepare & present frequent finance reports and analyses (P&L and cost-saving plans) along with justifications of data forecasts and deviations
• Study the viability of investment project and strategic reorientation
• Assess new business opportunities and new vertical developments and changes
• Incubate and lead the launch of new financial projects

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Academic background in Finance Economics Engineering or Mathematics (ACCA/CPA Certification would be considered an advantage)
• Extensive experience in financial performance Finance Consulting Investment Banking or FP&A roles
• Strong Budgeting and forecasting skills
• Experience of working in Commercial Finance in the E-commerce or FMCG industry will be considered a plus
• Advanced MS Excel Skills (pivot tables sumifs vlookup Charts etc) & Google Workspace
• Knowledge of the English language (advanced)
• Strong problem-solving skills; you are hypothesis-driven & looking for data to drive decisions
• Highly organised and detail-oriented approach you are able to maintain and deliver on time multiple project simultaneously
• High levels of professionalism initiative energy creativity and flexibility
• Knowledge of local accounting and tax standards (Local GAAP)
