Lead Animator [The Division 2]

Tom Clancys The Division 2 is an online open world action shooter RPG set in a collapsing and fractured Washington D.C. This rich setting combines a wide variety of beautiful iconic and realistic environments in which the player gets to experience the series trademark fast-paced action rich RPG systems and dedication to authenticity in world building. 
As a Lead you would contribute to the development of a skilled and ambitious Animation team working on Tom Clancys The Division this role you will work closely with our other Leads and multidisciplinary developers across our AAA production.

What youll do 

• Providing constructive feedback mentoring and coaching animators
• Playing a key role in the creation of high-quality assets by being hands-on with animations
• Ensuring productive workflow and beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
• Ensuring deliverables are completed on time on specs and up to quality standards 
• Collaborating with other Leads Directors and cross-functional teams to advance project quality 

Qualifications :

What youll bring 

You are a motivated and team-oriented Lead dedicated to the craft of Animation. You find the teams achievements to be motivating and can supervise a team by providing constructive feedback and support whenever needed. You have a passion for game development and awareness of current trends in the industry. 

Besides the above were looking for someone aligned withthe following skills and experience: 

• Several years of professional animation experience ideally in gameplay
• Previous experiences in the gaming industry 
• Proficiency in 3D animation software like Maya and MotionBuilder
• An understanding of character rigging skinning and motion capture techniques.
• Ability to learn game engine tools and pipelines quickly.
• Professional experience of supervising and leading a team of Animators is considered a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills along with the ability to coach others.
• Very good English skills (written and spoken).
