Get to Know the Role
As a member of the Grab Commercial Singapore team you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring onboarding and managing a portfolio of clients and maintaining a strong sales pipeline aligned with bi-monthly targets.
This role will report onsite at Singapore Grab office and will report into the Manager Non ACE Sales & Ads.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Serve as a product expert for all GrabMart and GrabPay related matters.
- You will meet pitch and lead negotiations with assigned/prospective merchant leads to acquire and onboard them to Grab.
- You will market and champion Grabs value proposition as the leader of choice for merchants.
- You will build partnerships with merchants managing their performance and contribution to the Grab merchant network.
- You will be accountable for merchant activity and engagement throughout their onboarding journey.
- You will stay informed about market knowledge and competitor activity to contribute to strategies that meet market changes and merchants requirements.
- You will develop an understanding of all products and services that Grab offers.
- You will handle daily merchant queries (commercial and operational) and ensure a smooth onboarding and post-onboarding process.
- You will work with the Account Management Team and other verticals (e.g. Phoenix GrabAds Partnerships) to align and cross-sell enhancing the value Grab brings to merchants.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- At least 2 years experience in Sales Business Development or relevant job scope with proven track record of meeting sales target.
- Experience pitching and engaging with merchants aiming to secure beneficial agreements.
- Develop partnerships with a variety of merchants ensuring long-term collaboration and query resolution during onboarding.
- Understand and adapt strategies based on changing market trends and merchant requirements.
- Familiarity with Grabs product offerings and understanding how these can contribute to merchants.
- Work with the Account Management Team and other departments to achieve collective goals.
- Analyse sales data and obtain insights that inform your strategies and decisions.
