Job Description Summary:

Rocket Software is looking for a high-energy results-driven Senior Sales Executive to accelerate our banking and financial services business in Indonesia. This is a sales-centric quota-carrying role focused on building a high-performing partner ecosystem and closing complex deals with banks through channels. You will own the revenue number for Indonesia and few other countries in ASEAN driving business with and through partners that serve tier-1 and tier-2 banks. The focus is on solutions that help banks modernize legacy environments strengthen security and compliance and prepare for AI-driven innovation. Success in this role means growing pipeline increasing win rates and expanding Rocket Softwares footprint in strategic banking accounts via our partner network. This individual understands executive selling into large companies outstanding communication skills and brings current relationships. Proactively prospecting and leading meetings with customers weekly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Number

  • Take full ownership of revenue pipeline and partner margins for Indonesia and few other ASEAN countries with a primary focus on BFSI customers.

  • Build and manage a predictable high-quality pipeline with partners from lead generation through to deal closure.

  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Drive Revenue in BFSI sector

  • Identify recruit and onboard high-impact channel partners resellers and system integrators focused on banks and financial institutions.

  • Have a background and understanding of banking solutions related to core banking and payments systems risk and treasury regulatory reporting fraud/AML KYC and digital channels.

  • Build joint business plans with top partners including banking-focused revenue goals named accounts and activity plans.

Sales Execution & Deal Leadership

  • Lead strategic opportunities with banks together with partners: account strategy customer engagement proposal shaping commercial negotiation and closing.

  • Position Rocket Software as a trusted partner for legacy modernization security and regulatory compliance in banking environments.

  • Accelerate sales cycles by removing blockers aligning stakeholders and driving urgency to close.

Legacy Modernization Security & Compliance Focus

  • Sell solutions that help banks modernize IBM Mainframe and AS/400-based applications core banking platforms and mission-critical workloads without disrupting operations.

  • Work with partners to position Rocket Software capabilities in application modernization data modernization integration and performance optimization for banking systems.

  • Drive conversations around security regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. data protection auditability access control transaction integrity operational resilience) and how Rocket Software and partners address these.

Ecosystem & AI-Ready Banking Solutions

  • Collaborate with partners that help banks modernize and secure their infrastructure and data platforms on AWS Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Promote solutions that support banks AI and advanced analytics initiatives by ensuring data applications and platforms are modernized secure and compliant.

  • Coordinate joint go-to-market activities (campaigns events workshops executive briefings) targeting banking decision makers (CIO CTO CISO COO Heads of Digital Risk Compliance).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business IT Computer Science or a related field; MBA is an advantage.

  • 510 years of quota-carrying experience in channel sales indirect sales or partner management in the enterprise software / IT services market.

  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets ideally selling into banks and financial institutions through partners.

  • Proven experience selling solutions for legacy core banking and payments platforms mainframe or AS/400 environments integration and middleware security and regulatory/compliance use cases.

  • Experience working with partners involved in application and data modernization infrastructure modernization and secure cloud migration including collaborations with AWS Azure and GCP.

  • Exposure to selling or positioning AI-related solutions for banks (e.g. AI-driven analytics risk models fraud detection customer insights) is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe and AS/400 systems and related banking modernization projects.

  • Established network of SI VAR and consulting partners serving banks and financial institutions in Indonesia.

  • Strong commercial deal-structuring and negotiation skills with the ability to create compelling value propositions around modernization security and compliance.

  • Excellent sales communication presentation and storytelling skills especially in front of senior banking stakeholders and regulators.

  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).

Travel Requirements:

50% of your time in the field working at tradeshows and meeting with customers/clients
