Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Hydraulic Analysis & Design

Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic studies including river flow modeling flood simulations and watershed assessments.
Design hydraulic structures such as drainage networks culverts canals spillways pump stations and flood protection systems.
Perform water surface profile computations scour analysis and sediment transport assessments.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Technical Documentation & Reporting

Prepare engineering reports hydraulic calculations design drawings and technical specifications.
Review and validate technical documents submitted by consultants contractors or project teams.
Present findings analyses and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.

3. Project Support & Coordination

Provide technical input during project planning permitting procurement and construction phases.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural geotechnical environmental and project management groups.
Conduct site inspections to evaluate existing conditions verify design assumptions and support construction activities.

4. Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure hydraulic designs adhere to national regulations industry standards and project requirements.
Implement quality control procedures and perform design checks on hydraulic deliverables.
Support risk assessments safety reviews and environmental impact evaluations.
