Synergie is partnering with a leading(multi-faceted) distributor to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for their new distribution facility in Altona.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of daily warehouse operations lead a growing team and play a key role in establishing processes within a newly relocated site.

The Role
You will be responsible for supervising daily warehouse operations while ensuring safety compliance and efficiency across your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff and ensure compliance with processes and performance expectations
- Manage labour allocation to meet operational and client requirements
- Oversee receiving putaways order picking cycle counting and despatch
- Maintain workflow efficiency and service level standards
- Manage client queries and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with management to drive team performance and engagement
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Ensure safe work practices and operational compliance
About You
To succeed in this role you will bring:
- Minimum 3 years experience in warehousing/logistics
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of warehouse workflow and compliance standards
- Experience working with external stakeholders and resolving operational issues
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams
- A hands-on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement
