Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year (ESY) is a Special Education Program for studentswith disabilities whose IEP team has determined that in order to preventsubstantial regression and reduce recoupment times the students require alonger year. Services are based on individual needs to address IEP goalsand RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Work with elementary school students and support them in instructional and non-instructional activities(academic work daily routines functional life skills).2. Reinforce learning of materials or skills and collect data.3. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students.4. Willingness to be trained in and use positive behavior support strategies.5. Complete any other duty or assignments as directed by the Director of Special Education/ESY Coordinator.
