As part of our growth we are currently seeking a Back End/Server-Side Software Tester (Linux/Unix) to join our NTS this role you will assist with implementing and performing dynamic test cases testing prototypes testing new products testing maintenance releases researching and assuring quality to aid the implementation of our global leading systems.

What You Will Do

• Review system requirements and business processes; tests and debugs software solutions

• Conduct a range of quality control tests and analyses keeps track of them though JIRA system to ensure that all problems are resolved and that software meets or exceeds specified standards development specifications or client requirements

• Use existing automation testing systems based on Jenkins/Docker to complete your daily QA tasks as well as make suggestions to the automation testing systems to better serve QAs day-to-day job

• Document test strategy test cases prepare test environment perform integration and system testing regression testing and raise defects in the system

• Independently test the software systems end to end and perform root cause analysis of issues observed during the testing cycle

• Document and propose for approval of the release engineering procedures so that the process can continually be reviewed and improved

• Collect and analyze process data to make recommendations on improved business practices and procedures

• Join us on our Cloud journey and gain exposure and experience with AWS hosted solutions

What We Expect

• Must have at least 6 to 8 years of experience as a Server-Side Tester with outstanding back-end testing knowledge and proven track record of using UNIX/Linux command line tools and regular expression (grep sed awk etc.)

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to question vague requirements and be comfortable in presenting testing strategies in front of any audience

• Analytical skills with a structured approach a great teammate and someone who has a goal for improving business best practices and a passion for problem solving

• Should have a can-do positive attitude and able to multi-task multiple project priorities

• Must be proactive act as an owner and able to follow-up on the blocking issues affecting release schedule and look for alternative test solutions

• Should be able to identify the project risks in terms of the testing perspective and meeting committed deadlines

• Must be able to determine the scope of testing based on the business requirements and technical specifications

• Ability to independently plan and set up the test environment and focus on getting the things done till completion

• Ability to analyze the test results perform deep dive investigation and root cause analysis of the data

What Would Be Helpful

• Experience in testing applications/services hosted in AWS

• Experience in working with high transaction volumes

• Previous experience working in Compliance Regulation Surveillance domain or any other related domain

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience

• Experience in developing and maintaining testing tools/framework to be used by the broader team using Bash Python etc.
