What you can expect
We are seeking an experienced Public Sector Solutions Engineer with a proven track record of success to join our this role you will play a key part in customers success by architecting designing and demonstrating tailored solutions that address unique business challenges and objectives.
As a trusted advocate for customers and channel partners you will work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Sales Product Development and Customer Successto ensure seamless solution delivery and business outcomes.
A strong understanding of the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) industry along with solid knowledge of the Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) space is essential. You will be expected to clearly articulate Zooms solutions and architectural advantages in supporting Account Executives (AEs) to help Japanese Central and Local Government institutions overcome their most complex collaboration challenges.
The role is based in Tokyo and will report to the Field and Partner Solutions Engineering Manager Japan.

Responsabilties
- Leading strategic sales engagements and provide expert technical support to customers partners and internal teams.
- Building trusted relationships across the customer and channel ecosystem while enabling partners to adopt and manage Zooms UCaaS and CCaaS platforms.
- Acting as a subject-matter expert on UCaaS/CCaaS technologies industry trends and competitive positioning.
- Collaborating with global teams to drive product innovation enhancements and customer-focused solutions.
- Designing and deliver next-generation communication solutions including demos proofs of concept and deal-support activities.
- Contributing to sales strategy marketing initiatives and product development through market intelligence and customer insights.
What were looking For
- Build good rapport with customers through business acumen in the public sector technical expertise and executive presence.
- 8 years of experience in the public sector market working with Japan Government Agencies or Public institutions as a Solutions Engineer or in similar technical pre-sales roles.
- 3 years experience in selling Public Cloud services to Japan Government Agencies or Public institutions ideally within UCaaS/CCaaS environments
- An excellent understanding of the Japanese Governments three-tiered network segregation policy for both central and local government including the Local Government Wide Area Network (LGWAN).
- An excellent understanding of Japans government security certifications such as Information System Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP)
- A solid understanding of Japans national strategy - Society 5.0 - to create a super smart society
- Have knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Have experience of working within the channel landscape and supporting partner-driven engagements.
- Native Japanese skill/Business Level English skill with a TOEIC score of 700 will be highly considered.

求めるご経験/スキル
- 公共機関におけるビジネスの洞察力技術的専門知識および経営幹部としての存在感を通じて顧客との良好な関係を構築できる方
- 日本の政府機関または公共機関を対象にソリューションエンジニアもしくは類似の技術プリセールス職として公共セクター市場で8年以上の実務経験をお持ちの方
- 日本の政府機関または公共機関を対象にUCaaSCCaaS 領域を含むパブリッククラウドサービスの提案販売において3年以上の実務経験をお持ちの方
- 中央省庁および地方自治体の双方に適用される日本政府の三層ネットワーク分離方針地方公共団体情報システム機構が運用する LGWAN を含むについて理解を有すること
- ISMAPInformation System Security Management and Assessment Programをはじめとする日本政府の情報セキュリティ認証制度に関する理解を有すること
- 日本の国家戦略である Society 5.0 について理解を有すること
- AWSAzureまたはGoogle Cloudなどのクラウドプラットフォームに関する知識
- チャネル環境内での業務経験およびパートナー主導のエンゲージメントをサポートした経験
