Job Summary
Description
We are searching for a Cash ApplicationsSpecialist! This position will run all automatic credit card payments either manually or through the payment portal and handle all declined credit cards and auto pay approvals. Also monitor and respond to all emails sent to the credit card department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process all automatic payments either manually or in PNC payment portal.
- If a credit card is declined you will be responsible to notify the customer advising of decline noting the account accordingly and ensure other procedural internal steps are performed.
- Send out Auto Pay Approvals to customers prior to processing payment.
- Process credit card payments either through email requests or phone in.
- Assist customer in processing payments and setting up the PNC account.
- Assist with any portal issues: login issues enrollment reset passwords and guide them through the process. Add users to the portal upload invoices to portal as necessary.
- Send receipts to customers after payments have been processed.
- Advise customer of other open invoices on their account if older than the one they are paying.
- Check the Bill File Upload emails to ensure invoices are being uploaded.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Provide a high level service to internal and external customers.
- Work closely as a team to make sure all Cash Applications are completed in the allotted time
Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma;
- Experience with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
- Experience running credit cards a plus.
- Customer service experience in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail data entry accuracy.
- Ability to multitask.
- Able to work independently and as a productive team member.
