Electrical Estimator II
Yearly Salary: $65000-$75000
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Estimator will assist in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for upcoming commercial electrical projects. This role is ideal for someone who has 2 years of commercial electrical estimating experience.
- Review project drawings specifications and bid documents
- Perform quality take-offs for materials equipment and labor
- Help prepare estimates proposals and bid packages
- Maintain and update pricing vendor lists and material cost information
Additional Essential Functions:
- Work with project managers service managers and project foreman on change orders and costs to complete estimates of on going projects
- Communicate effectively with the general contractor owner and/or owners representative through negotiations
Requirements
- Have an understanding of the NEC
- Must have 2-4 years plus of experience
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
- Strong math analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
