The Impact Youll Make

As the Manager of Technology Strategy you will lead a high-performing team of 14 professionals. You are the Trusted Advisor to our executive stakeholders overseeing a critical portfolio that includes IT Hardware Software Cloud SaaS.

Your mission is to move beyond cost-cutting. You will drive EBITDA growth foster supplier innovation and navigate the complexities of a fast-paced digital ecosystem to ensure TELUS remains the most recommended company in our markets.

• Change Maker: You are uncomfortable with the status quo. You are constantly looking for ways to innovate sourcing practices and project management excellence

What You Bring to the Table

• Expertise: 7 years of experience in Sourcing or IT Procurement(HW SW SaaS and Cloud) with at least 2 years of proven success leading people. Hands-on experience managing strategic relationships and complex commercial models with Tier-1 technology vendors and hyperscalers (ie: AWS GCP Microsoft SAP Salesforce ServiceNow)
• Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing a team of 10 to 15 category managers and leaders across a global operating environment driving alignment performance and stakeholder partnership at scale
• Negotiation Mastery: A track record of leading high-stakes multi-million dollar negotiations in the IT and Consulting space
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial drivers (EBITDA) and how technology procurement impacts the bottom line
• Education: A Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
• Credentials: Professional certifications (SCMP CSCP or CPSM) are highly valued
