General Purpose of Role:
Entry level lawyer providing legal support to the Americas region under frequent
guidance and direction from senior legal team members.
Performs research on assigned practice areas and summarizes findings to support
decision making.
Reviews analyzes and summarizes documents and other materials.
Collaborates closely with regional generalist lawyers CoE teams and cross-functional
teams to manage legal risk and support business objectives.
Assists in reviewing and negotiating customer contracts within the region.
Handles routine legal matters in collaboration with the relevant CoE teams and
escalates complex matters as appropriate.
May assist in complex Projects during opportunity or execution stages under guidance.
Including advising on contractual risks and supporting change management activities.
May participate in a practice area Working Group in support of and in collaboration
with the responsible GC and where appropriate the relevant CoE.
Champions a positive team-oriented approach building strong relationships across
legal and business teams. Actively seeks out opportunities to contribute to projects
and supports initiatives that drive strategic and meaningful impact for the organization.

Reports to:
Reports to the relevant Senior Associate General Counsel (SAGC) or Associate General
Counsel (AGC).

Additional Technical Information:
Requires a Law degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in
at least one Worley jurisdiction to the extent legally required in the relevant jurisdiction.

Global Level Summary:
Entry-level legal professional within the insert region Legal team focused on building
foundational expertise in commercial and contractual matters. Provides practical support on
routine legal issues contributes to the implementation of established policies and procedures
and participates in training programs for personal development. Escalates complex matters
to senior team members with a primary emphasis on learning and growth within the legal
function.

Typical Qualifications:
Preferred 1-4 years of relevant experience with potential for growth.
Experience in a global or matrixed organization is an advantage.
Familiarity with legal systems technology tools and AI.
Decision Making:
Makes decisions on clearly defined routine legal matters under supervision; escalates all nonstandard or high-risk issues.
Supervision Received:
Works under supervision of AGC or SACG; receives frequent feedback and direction to support
ongoing development.
Communication:
Communicates legal advice to internal teams in writing and verbally with support from senior
lawyers.
Systems Processes & Tools:
Supports the use and maintenance of legal tools and templates.
Strategic Impact and Leadership:
Contributes to team objectives; focuses on personal development.
