Landscape Design Intern

AECOM is seeking a Landscape Design Intern to be based in Arlington VA.

This position is expected to begin Summer 2026.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support site analyses site design landscape design alternatives.
• Prepare site plan renderings 3D modeling and perspectives to support the design concepts.
• Support technical drawings including hardscape and planting plans sections and details.  
• Support the development of presentations and prepare for the client meetings.
• Organize and track administrative project tasks like meeting minutes action items and scheduling needs.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture or in another related field and must have completed at least 2 years of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelors degree and plan to continue with the Masters degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelors degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Revit Rhino ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Adept at developing creative and innovative renderings maps and documentation.
• Efficient and organized with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to balance priorities.

Additional Information :

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Arlington VA. The selected candidate must be available to work in Arlington VA on a scheduled basis.
