The Bottleneck Supply Management Specialist is the specialist responsible for ensuring operational fluidity. This professional proactively identifies and prevents risks monitors supplier capacity and manages inventory. They act as a central point for crisis resolution leading difficult negotiations on deadlines and priorities to clear any bottlenecks that threaten deliveries and production.
- Set up the allocation file and production tracking file at the supplier.
- Monitor supplier performance identify improvements and recommend changes to increase efficiency.
- Active allocations for different AS factories/projects.
- Visualization for management reports.
- Invite and lead daily bottleneck escalation meetings with suppliers to ensure rapid recovery and avoid further risks.
- Lead escalation to the supplier and purchasing.
- Responsible for internal information flow to the production planner/customer.
- Root cause analysis of bottlenecks.
- Request support from the project purchasing department or Quality department if necessary.
- Single point of contact for the supplier: Request necessary information from affected Bosch AS plants and communicate daily/weekly status to affected Bosch AS plants.
- Define the objective and communicate when the bottleneck will be resolved.
- Continue daily routines with suppliers (with defined contact) factories etc. until the bottleneck is resolved.
- Order and stock management
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing project management manufacturing or Supply Chain;
- Experience in indentification of risks in the supply chain (component shortages geopolitical risks manufacturing capacity) and experience in monitoring suppliers production capacities;
- Knowledge of SAP systems and data analysis tools.
- Experience in developing reports dashboardg and in monitoring performance metrics (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD);
- Skills in problem solving negociation and relationship management;
- Critical thinking & ability to work under pressure;
- Fluency English is often required due to the global nature of the role.
