Overview
We are seeking aProject Coordinator to
support mixed-use residential projects across the GTA. This role will be
involved in all phases of development including pre-development municipal
approvals and construction. The successful candidate will work closely with
the Development Manager and collaborate with consultants municipalities and
internal project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support
the Development Manager in coordinating and submitting development
approvals and building permit applications for infill and master-planned
communities (ZBA Site Plan Approval Plan of Subdivision building and
sundry permits). - Prepare
issue and track RFPs for multi-disciplinary consultant teams; provide
comparative analysis to support consultant selection. - Liaise
with municipalities and authorities having jurisdiction to facilitate
approvals and entitlements. - Assist
with feasibility studies market research entitlement risk assessments
due diligence approval briefs and development agreement reviews. - Coordinate
meetings including logistics and documentation preparation. - Review
design and construction drawings reports and specifications. - Track
project budgets and monitor consultant invoices. - Maintain
digital project files ensuring accurate documentation of permits
drawings contracts and reports. - Monitor
municipal and federal grant opportunities and assist with grant
application preparation.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary
education in Engineering Architecture Urban Planning Project
Management or related field. - Minimum
2 years experience in real estate development. - Familiarity
with financial modelling and inclusionary zoning is considered an asset. - Strong
organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and
meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. - Collaborative
proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. - Valid
Class G drivers license (no restrictions) and ability to travel to
project sites as required. - High
level of integrity and professionalism.
