Job Summary

Project Support Officer

At the NSW Department of Education we educate and inspire lifelong learners from early childhood through schooling to vocational education and training.

  • Temporary Full-Time until 31 December 2026
  • Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available
  • $124992. Package includes salary ($99938 - $110271) employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role

The Project Support Officer provides high-level support to the Educational Pathways Program (EPP) by supporting the coordination and delivery of 8 EPP initiatives stakeholder engagement program governance and management and reporting and accountability.

The role is part of the broader delivery team responsible for the effective implementation of the EPP and will support the project through all stages of delivery. This role underpins the opportunities the EPP provides for students to engage in meaningful career learning activities and positive post-school pathways.

About you

  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Strong attention to details and effectively manages time and can prioritise to meet deadlines.
  • You are highly organised and proactive with the ability to support the planning coordination and delivery of projects through to completion.
  • You demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills enabling you to manage records coordinate logistics and assist with the preparation of meetings events and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • You have experience providing project and operational support including monitoring and reporting on project plans milestones and deliverables to ensure time cost and quality outcomes are achieved.
  • You bring strong administrative capability including coordinating meetings preparing agendas and papers and providing secretariat support to ensure effective project governance.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Departments Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
