Role Overview:

We are hiring a senior process-driven and technically strong Project Planning & Controls Manager Terminal to take end-to-end ownership of planning scheduling MIS and project controls for large-scale airport terminal development projects.

This role is central to driving delivery performance of complex terminal works involving civil structural finishes façade MEP systems and multi-agency interfacesoften under live airport operational constraints. The position requires strong analytical capability leadership in planning governance and close coordination with execution design and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

Review validate and approve PMC and Contractor schedules (L1L5) for terminal works including structure façade interiors MEPF systems testing & commissioning.

Ensure all schedules are aligned with Client-approved milestones phasing strategy sectional handovers and operational readiness requirements.

Assess schedule logic critical path float ownership and interface dependencies for terminal packages.

Conduct periodic schedule health checks identifying slippages logic gaps and unrealistic assumptions.

Ensure integration of terminal schedules with airside landside utilities and enabling works

Project Controls & Performance Tracking

Monitor Planned vs Actual progress milestone achievement and time performance across terminal packages.

Track earned value productivity trends and forecast completion dates as reported by PMC/Contractors.

Independently assess delay risks recovery feasibility and acceleration proposals.

Escalate critical schedule risks and deviations to Client leadership with clear impact assessment.

MIS & Reporting

Own the Client-side Terminal Project MIS framework ensuring consistency accuracy and auditability.

Review and consolidate PMC/Contractor reports into Client-ready weekly fortnightly and monthly dashboards.

Develop management-level MIS trend analysis and executive summaries for steering committees and leadership reviews.

Use Primavera outputs Excel and Power BI dashboards to present factual data-driven insights.

Act as a single source of truth for terminal schedule and progress information at Client level.

Interface & Coordination

Coordinate with PMC Contractors Design Consultants Operations Commercial and Procurement teams on planning-related matters.

Ensure effective interface management between terminal civil façade interiors MEPF BHS ICT security systems and authority approvals.

Participate in progress review meetings stage-gate reviews and milestone readiness assessments as Client representative.

Support coordination with airport operations teams for phased access shutdowns and commissioning windows.

Risk Claims & Governance Support

Support the Client in time impact analysis (TIA) review delay attribution and EOT assessments.

Provide planning inputs for claims evaluation dispute avoidance and contractual decision-making.

Maintain planning-related risk registers and mitigation tracking.

Ensure compliance with Client project governance frameworks approval protocols and reporting standards.

Process Standardisation & Continuous Improvement

Implement and enforce planning and controls standards from design stage through commissioning and handover.

Support preparation of Time Impact Analysis (TIA) delay analysis EOT assessments and claims defence inputs.

Drive continuous improvement in planning tools templates MIS formats and process automation.

Act as a custodian of planning discipline data integrity and reporting governance for terminal projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

B.E./ in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

Postgraduate diploma or certification in Project Management / Construction Planning preferred.

812 years of hands-on experience in Project Planning & Controls with significant exposure to airport terminal or large building infrastructure projects.

Strong expertise in Primavera P6 MS Project Excel and Power BI.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD BIM and multidisciplinary coordination tools is a strong advantage.

Prior experience in live terminal environments phased handovers or operational airports will be highly valued.
