About the Role
The Premises Manager will lead the day-to-day management of the school site and coordinate a team of caretaking and facilities staff. You will ensure that all buildings grounds and facilities are safe secure and maintained to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and leading site staff including caretakers and cleaners
Overseeing the maintenance and repair of school buildings and grounds
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Coordinating contractors deliveries and facility projects
Planning and managing facilities budgets
Supporting school events and lettings
Implementing sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in premises management or facilities leadership
Strong organisational and leadership skills
Knowledge of Health & Safety and statutory compliance
Ability to manage staff contractors and budgets effectively
Proactive reliable and detail-oriented
