Job Summary

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Arizona Elementary K-8 Teaching Certificate
OR
Arizona Middle Grades 5-9 Teaching Certificate
OR
ArizonaSecondary 6-12 Teaching Certificate withMiddle Grades 5-9 Endorsement
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS
Effective: 2026-2027SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Dodge Magnet Middle School- Pima & Craycroft Area

FTE: 1.0 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Teacher will provide instruction for two (2) periods of Science Olympiad (Elective) and three (3) periods of General Study Skills.

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
