As a Security Officer - Tablet Patrol Rounds in Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support access control with badge procedures. You will complete routine rounds use computers and/or tablets to document activity and deliver strong customer service through clear respectful communication. Backed by Allied Universal you will act with integrity work as one team and bring agile reliable innovative service to each shift.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and/or beverage production distribution and/or service location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas loading docks receiving areas parking areas and the property perimeter with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Control access points by monitoring visitors employees and/or vendors for authorization issuing directions and documenting entries and exits according to site procedures.
• Complete timely reports and logs of patrol activity incidents hazards and/or maintenance concerns and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
