Job Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic consultant to department heads to align people strategies with the companys production and commercial goals. The role involves managing the full employee lifecycle driving high performance across farm and factory operations and ensuring industrial harmony within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
.Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment: Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support dairy production and distribution targets.
- Workforce Planning: Oversee complex shift-based staffing requirements for farm factory and logistics units to ensure zero downtime in production.
- Performance Management: Drive a high-performance culture by setting monitoring and evaluating monthly and quarterly KPIs for technical and commercial teams.
- Industrial Relations: Lead labor relations and community engagement at the facility to ensure compliance with the Nigerian Labor Act and maintain a strike-free environment.
- Talent Acquisition: Identify and recruit specialized technical talent including Veterinarians Dairy Technologists and Sales Executives to maintain a competitive edge.
- Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance staff morale and retention across both blue-collar and white-collar workforces.
- Market Insights: Conduct research on industry salary benchmarks and HR trends to ensure the organization remains an employer of choice in the FMCG sector.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all HR operations meet ISO standards bio-security protocols and occupational health and safety (HSE) requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related social science field.
- 58 years of proven HR experience with at least 23 years in a managerial or business partnering role.
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing or property-tech related service sectors is a distinct advantage.
- Strong emotional intelligence deep knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and the ability to manage a geographically dispersed workforce.
