Job Summary
| Position Role: MT SNCO. Under the control of the QM manage all aspects of 256 MMRs MT department including (but not exhaustive): Green and White Fleet allocation and maintenance MT Equipment Care Driver Training and Licence Acquisition Unit Road Safety Officer Unit HAZMAT Manager. |
| 1. COs adviser and responsible to the CO for all MT matters. |
| 2. Responsible for Equipment Care and the ECI areas as directed by QM. |
| 3. Conduct the duties of Defence Transport Operator as per current motor transport regulations. |
| 4. Management of all MT resources; personnel vehicles infrastructure and associated funding for MT support to unit. |
| 5. Maintain the following: 8800 Register Modification Register Damage Report Register Serious Safety & Warranty |
| 6. Register Technical Publications TDOL. 1002 for non standard MT equipment. |
| 7. Responsible for the Training assistance of Career Management and Trade training of MT personnel |
| 8. Control all driver licence acquisition and theory testing. |
| 9. Road Safety Officer & Unit HAZMAT Manager; plan and carry out Road Safety Campaign annually. |
