You are a hunter and a strategist. Your mission is to break into untapped markets and secure new logo partnerships by positioning our world-class network as the backbone of their digital transformation. As a specialist in Network Business Development you wont just manage accounts you will architect them from the ground up. You will act as a high-level consultant leveraging your deep technical understanding of networking to displace incumbents and establish Verizon as the premier partner for enterprise-scale connectivity.
Hunting & Expansion: Identifying and penetrating high-value new logo accounts through aggressive prospecting and strategic networking.
Technical Consultative Selling: Evaluating complex industry trends and customer network topologies to build custom strategic roadmaps.
Relationship Architecture: Building top-to-bottom relationships within new organizations from the CIO to the NOC engineers.
Solution Engineering: Crafting creative scalable architectures across the network including Data Center SD-WAN and Cloud environments that solve critical efficiency gaps.
Value Demonstration: Using hard data and capability modeling to prove why our network solutions are the superior choice for their business-critical operations.
Strategic Closing: Navigating complex procurement cycles to deliver winning outcomes for both the customer and the business.
You have a challenger mindset. You enjoy deconstructing a prospects current network limitations and showing them a better way forward. You are comfortable leading strategy workshops and just as comfortable negotiating multi-million dollar contracts. You dont just hit targets; you redefine whats possible in your territory.
Youll need to have:
Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience or Technical Sales with a history of acquiring new enterprise logos.
Networking solutions expertise and associated technologies services.
Strategic hunting experience in cold-market entry and territory planning globally.
A track record of strategic sales at senior executive levels internationally.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree.
Technical Fluency and Deep experience selling Layer 2/3 networking SD-WAN Edge Computing and Cybersecurity solutions.
The Hunter Drive: A relentless motivation to exceed challenging sales quotas and displace established competitors.
Developed large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.
Persuaded and negotiated to create desired outcomes.
