About the Role
We are recruiting a Workplace Relations Advisor to join our Human Resources team based in Southbank Melbourne.
Reporting to the Workplace Relations Manager this role provides specialist industrial and employee relations advice across Saputo Dairy Australia. You will work closely with HR Business Partners leaders and union stakeholders supporting complex ER matters enterprise agreement activity and compliance in a unionised environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert advice on the interpretation and application of Enterprise Agreements Modern Awards and pay rules ensuring legislative and industrial compliance
Support HR Business Partners and leaders with complex workplace relations matters including investigations misconduct disciplinary processes and grievances
Assist with and where required lead enterprise agreement bargaining activities from planning through to negotiation and certification
Represent the business in workplace relations matters including conciliations mediations and tribunal proceedings and coordinate external legal support as required
Build constructive relationships with union stakeholders and uplift capability across HR and leadership through policy development training and coaching
About You
Bachelors degree in Industrial Relations Human Resources Employment Law or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years experience providing workplace relations or industrial relations advice in a unionised environment
Strong experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards
Confident engaging with unions HR teams and senior leaders
Strong influencing communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable operating in complex fastpaced environments
