MA-C is REQUIRED will not accept MA-R. There may be an opportunity to join the clinic permanently at the end of the contract if all goes well.** - Start Date: ASAP - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Shift: 5x8hr Days 0800-1630 (Mon-Fri; No weekends or holidays No call) ***Occassional floating to the Issaquah clinic (751 NE Blakely Drive Suite 5010 Issaquah WA 98029); Specific floating cadence on as needed basis to be discussed with hirning manager. - Years of Experience REQ: At least 6 months of experience working as an MA in a Pediatric Outpatient Clinic is preferred. - First-Timers Accepted: Yes - Weekend REQ: No; Schedule is Monday - Friday - Certs REQ: BLS - Skills REQ: CLINIC SPECIALTIES ----- Pediatrics VITAL SIGNS ----- Height/Weight ----- Obtain Vital Signs ----- Pulse Oximetry ----- Manual Blood Pressures PREPARE FOR EXAM ----- Record History/Medications/Allergies SPECIMEN COLLECTION ----- Urine - UA/Clean Catch LABORATORY TESTS ----- Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis OFFICE DUTIES ----- Chart Preparation ----- Scheduling Appointments ----- Stocking Supplies PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS ----- Follow Up Phone Calls ----- Rooming Patients - Is on-call REQ No - Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs Possibly as needed within skillset to assist at Issaquah clinic (751 NE Blakely Drive Suite 5010 Issaquah WA 98029) - Open to accommodating block schedule No - Locals Accepted: Yes; Considered local within 50 mile radius will accept locals at the same rate - Pending License Accepted: No WA MA-C in-hand REQUIRED at time of signature - RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks) SPECIAL NOTES - Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation (NOT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION) as they will be expected to float between clinics.. - Candidate is expected to have no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation. - MA would be rooming for 1-2 providers and about 15 patients/provider. - Patient Diagnoses: ----- Urology (3 providers) ----- Nephrology (2 providers) ----- Metabolic/endocrine/nutrition (4 providers) ----- Orthopedic (4 providers) ----- General Surgery (3 providers) - Special Procedures / Unit Details: Pediatric Specialty Clinic contains 5 specialties at one location. Typically the MA is assigned to a specific specialty for the day but expected to be proficient in all departments and cover where needed. Each department could have 1-2 providers in clinic per day. - There may be an opportunity to join the clinic permanently at the end of the contract if all goes well. HOSPITAL HIGHLIGHTS - Type of Facility: Pediatric Outpatient - Charting: EPIC (experience REQUIRED) - Attire / Scrub Color: Any color ----- JOB TITLE TAGS DEFINITIONS: Temp to Perm (LOCALS ONLY) The job is strictly for local candidates within a 50-mile radius. No travelers accepted. Temp-to-perm is a required expectation. 50-mile radius rule applies. Temp to Perm (LOCAL TRAVEL) Open to locals and local travelers just outside the 50-mile radius. True travelers are not eligible. Conversion to perm is expected. LOCALS ONLY The role prefers local candidates with a strong focus on eventual perm placement.
