Pay : HK$24191 - HK$28623 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Occupational Safety & Health Manager or Occupational Safety & Health Manager the incumbent shall assist in:
Organizing and coordinating Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) programmes and initiatives.
2. Maintaining and revising OSH guidelines and workflows to ensure full compliance with updated legal requirements and corporate/cluster policies.
3. Coordinating OSH risk assessments safety audits site inspections Labour Department inspections facilitating accident and incident investigations and/or exposure assessment/monitoring and the corresponding follow-up actions.
4. Managing inventory and maintenance of OSH / Occupational Hygiene (OHy) equipment.
5. Organizing and coordinating OSH / OHy training programmes.
6. Compiling and analyzing OSH statistics and data to generate management reports and trend analysis.
7. Providing executive support to OSH meetings.
8. Managing and updating the HKEC OSH website.
9. Ensuring systematic maintenance of OSH files records and documentation.
10. Handling enquiries relating to OSH matters from internal and external stakeholders.
11. Supporting ad hoc projects and performing any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements
University Graduate with work experience; OR
2. F.5 / S.5 with:
(a) Passes in 5 subjects in the HKCEE including English Language (Syl. B) and Chinese Language or equivalent;
OR
(b) 5 subjects in the HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / Attained in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects or equivalent;
AND diploma in a specialized function AND relevant experience.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure
1. A university degree in science should preferably be in the areas of Physics Chemistry Biology OSH Healthcare or equivalent.
2. Working experience in occupational safety & health or occupational hygiene.
3. Working experience in the healthcare sector.
4. Proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint and statistical analysis.
