The goal of the Program is thatcommunities are more resilient and taking action to adapt to anticipate mitigate respond to and recover from disasters and crises in a global humanitarian framework that reflects local the roleThe Senior Specialist Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) will support the development and implementation of M&E frameworks that align with Australian Red Cross organisational objectives of the desired outcomes of the international will be a particular focus on building the capacity of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies in the Asia Pacific region to develop and implement organisational M&E frameworks and systems. This is an important foundation for National Society strengthening and will also support National Societies to program deliver and report on the outcomes of Australian Red Cross will also have the opportunity to lead and participate in research and evaluation projects that seek to: advance knowledge solve problems understand the outcomes of humanitarian action inform continuous improvement and contribute to the global body of will be part of a network of MEL Specialists within Australian Red Cross National Societies and the sector more broadly. Together you will be seeking to strengthen a culture of community accountability and evidence-based practice across the to day you willWork with National Societies to strengthen their systems for monitoring evaluation and evidence-based decision the collation and analysis of data from multiple sources to understand impact at a portfolio levelDevelop and deliver a strategy to build the capacity of program staff and partners to effectively monitor and evaluate the delivery of their contribute to or manage large scale internal and external program evaluations including liaising with external research reports and briefings for leaders and stakeholders that provide accurate and consolidated program performance information to articulate collective impact and provide actionable insights to improve program you will bringSubstantial experience developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks and data collection tools across a range of community-based programs and/or supporting the capacity development of humanitarian institutions technical knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis particularly in mixed-methods approaches.
