Account Manager
Position Summary:
The primary function of an Account Manager is to establish and maintain strong client relationships and develop strategies to improve sales with new and existing accounts across multiple yards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inside sales support for strategic accounts.
- Develop relationships with new and underperforming accounts.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer service.
- Increase the sale of new products and identify opportunities for expanding the overall product offering.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity orders quotes and pricing.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending PKs educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Answer technical questions across the entire product line.
- Collaborate with outside sales and yard managers to develop an overall sales strategy focused on growth and profitability.
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Proficient in Trend MS TEAMS GTS Direct and the Web Dashboard/Portal

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in stationary position in an office environment: 80%
- Will frequently move about inside the office to access files office machinery etc.
- Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
- Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

- Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to receive and analyze information.
