Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager AI/ML to lead enterprise-wide AI governance and responsible AI initiatives. This role will focus on establishing and evolving governance frameworks that ensure AI systems are designed deployed and operated responsibly ethically and in compliance with global regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will bring strong program management expertise combined with deep knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle governance risk management and regulatory compliance along with experience driving large-scale organizational initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
AI Governance & Strategy
Lead the development implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise AI governance frameworks.
Define and enforce Responsible AI policies addressing fairness transparency accountability bias mitigation and ethical AI practices.
Establish governance controls for GenAI and Agentic AI systems including model usage access management and lifecycle oversight.
Enhance AI intake processes and align governance workflows across enterprise programs.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Drive compliance initiatives aligned with global AI regulatory frameworks such as EU AI Act NIST AI RMF GDPR and OECD AI Principles.
Conduct AI risk assessments and define mitigation strategies across AI/ML programs.
Maintain AI use-case inventories governance reporting and audit-ready documentation.
Ensure data protection PII security encryption standards and audit traceability across AI systems.
Program Leadership & Integration
Lead governance process alignment and reconciliation across organizational initiatives and acquisitions.
Integrate AI governance reviews into enterprise architecture and technical review processes.
Oversee AI model lifecycle management validation processes and governance reporting dashboards.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering legal compliance security and product teams.
Operational Governance & Monitoring
Govern enterprise AI platforms and services ensuring secure configuration access control and monitoring.
Monitor AI system performance risks and operational metrics using observability and reporting tools.
Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure governance effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
Provide leadership communication and executive-level reporting.
Develop training and awareness programs focused on Responsible AI and regulatory compliance.
Support governance communications and operational coordination across stakeholders.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
15 years of overall experience with 8 years in Program Management Governance Risk or Compliance roles.
Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and lifecycle including Generative AI systems.
Experience implementing AI governance frameworks and responsible AI principles.
Hands-on experience with AI risk assessment mitigation strategies and model lifecycle management.
Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks including EU AI Act NIST AI RMF GDPR and OECD AI Principles.
Experience defining governance or policy frameworks for GenAI and Agentic AI systems.
Background in post-merger integration or process reconciliation initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management communication and organizational leadership skills.
Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Educational Qualification
B.E. / / in Technology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within global enterprises or regulated industries.
Familiarity with architecture review boards and enterprise governance processes.
Certifications related to AI ethics governance compliance or risk management.
Strong change management and organizational transformation experience.
