Pay | : | HK$19764 - HK$24701 per month Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist clinical staff before during and after radiological examinations and procedures.
2. Assist the transfer of the patient before and after procedure and positioning of the patient for examination.
3. Responsible for the provision of patient care services observation monitoring of patients general condition in order to ensure patient safety and comfort.
4. Check and prepare medical consumables equipment and materials for examinations and restock after use and assist in store inventory checking receiving and delivery.
5. Responsible for the maintenance of cleanliness and tidiness of the examination area and the equipment.
6. Transport and assist in the operation of mobile X-ray machine and other imaging equipment.
7. Handle enquiries and communicate with clinical staff and clients.
8. Perform X-ray film filing film loan / return procedures image retrieval and transmission and film / image processing.
9. Perform clerical and reception duties and handle patient/ public enquiries.
10. Handle and dispose clinical waste chemical waste radioactive waste and patient excreta.
11. Perform any other job related tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent;
2. Completed structured departmental training. (See Remarks 2)
Preferably Attributes / Exposure:
1. Post-secondary education.
2. Holding certificate of the Health Care Assistant Course / Care-related Support Worker Course accredited by HA. (See Remarks 3)
3. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
4. Good PC skills & knowledge in common softwares such as MS Word Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
5. Possess relevant experience in healthcare service on patient handling.
6. Pleasant and mature with strong sense of responsibility.
7. Able to work independently with good interpersonal skills.

2. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (2) if find suitable will be employed to undergo at least 6 months on the job training including the structured departmental training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.
