Job Summary

As the Director Human Resources you will be a senior leader within the Human Resources department responsible for employee relations HR operations and oversight of the HR team. You will be ensure legal compliance and best practices across employee relations performance management HRIS payroll compensation employee benefits and people analytics.

Your even temperament flexibility optimism strong judgment business acumen and collaborative approach will result in trusted partnerships with organizational leaders including SVP and C-level and employees.

You will be involved in all phases of relevant HR projects including policy creation and implementation and management of employment and regulatory areas of focus with the intention of supporting a high-performing culture at EBG.

  • Strategically partner with and guide the HR team management and other personnel regarding people related topics in alignment with EBG values such as employment law performance management complex employee relations employment policies leaves of absence accommodation requests and employmentrelated aspects of corporate initiatives.
  • Direct employee relations issues with your teams support to ensure leaders effectively legally and timely manage employee performance issues in the appropriate manner with optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee HRIS processes reporting analytics and data integrity of the organizations HR system of record. Ensure alignment of HRIS HR practices employee data and reporting with payroll and downstream processes.
  • Oversee employee benefit offerings to include annual renewals open enrollment benefit vendor management escalations benefits administration and employee experience support.
  • Lead compensation initiatives including annual merit processing bonus processing incentive plans and compensation reviews to ensure pay and variable pay are administered appropriately and timely.
  • Lead workforce analytics efforts to identify trends risks and insights related to employee relations compliance retention and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with HR leadership to support consistent legally compliant performance management processes including manager coaching and documentation standards.
  • Design update and implement inhouse and/or vendorprovided training programs focused on lawful people management and respectful workplace practices.
  • Create update and manage employment policies and handbook updates procedures and practices to ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws.
  • Monitor federal state and local legal developments and advise HR leadership and business leaders on compliance related to changes in laws and regulations.
  • Oversee and conduct internal investigations of employmentrelated and other types of claims. Partner with internal Legal resources and external counsel as needed to support dispute resolution strategies mediation agency matters and employment litigation support.
  • Assist with management of Workers Compensation claims and other relevant documentation and coverage management.
  • Assist in Merger & Acquisition and other strategic people initiatives as needed.
  • Support the Human Resources departments overall goal of increasing organizational efficiency and achievement of business objectives in a manner that minimizes legal and employee relations risk.
  • Participate in relevant audits as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience managing a Human Resources team.
  • 7 years of broad and progressive Human Resources experience with significant focus on employee relations performance management employment law compliance and risk management.
  • deep knowledge of employmentlaw expertise gained through senior Human Resources leadership experience. Juris Doctor preferred. (Bar membership in Florida preferred if JDqualified but not required.)
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR professionals preferably within employee relations or HR operations or employment related legal functions.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing HRIS platforms (ADP WorkforceNow preferred) employee benefits programs and workforce analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations including experience related to Title VII and harassment investigations and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance including review and evaluation of workplace accommodation requests.
  • Experience working in multi-state professional environment with a minimum of 300 employees.
  • Excellent organization with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Excel and PowerPoint with an ability to create complex reports and presentations.
  • Ability to provide highquality work product in a timely manner to meet organizational demands and to effectively and efficiently multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work in office as needed in a hybrid environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically on occasion as the business demands.
  • Experience working in an e-commerce sales technology or other professional environment preferred.
