  • Deaconess Health System has 4 Radiation Oncology locations and 5 providers to allow for great collaboration and plan review.

Typical Weekly Expectations:consider weekly OR daily flow

  • 48 new patient consultations
  • 2540 follow-up or on-treatment visits
  • 36 simulation approvals and treatment plans
  • Participation in weekly tumor board

Daily Flow

  • 12 new consults per day
  • 48 follow-ups or on-treatment visits
  • Protected timefor contouring planning and chart review
  • Optional HDR brachytherapy based on interest and experience

Technology & Scope of Practice

  • VarianTrueBeam
  • VarianHalcyon
  • VarianBravos HDR Brachytherapy
  • Siemens CT Simulator
  • Scope includesgeneral radiation oncology with IMRT with opportunities forSRS SBRT and HDRdepending on physician interest and experience.Radiopharmaceutical experience a plus

Schedule & Call

  • Shared call with senior Radiation Oncologist
  • Primarily phone-based
  • Predictable weekday schedule
  • Strong emphasis onworklife balance

Compensation & Benefits

A competitive employed compensation package is offered and will include:

  • 1-year Guaranteed Base Salary:$700000

  • Productivity-based bonus opportunity

  • Sign-on Bonus:$100000 with a 5-year contract or $75000 with a 3-year contract

  • Student Loan Assistance:$75000

  • Residency Monthly Stipend:$2000 for up to 24 months
