Full-time leadership role April start
Our client is seeking an inspirational and experienced Head of Art to join a thriving school in Swindon from April. This is a full-time leadership position ideal for a strong Art practitioner with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice and the drive to lead a department to continued success.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the strategic development of Art across KS3 & KS4 with the potential to oversee KS5 provision where applicable. You will lead curriculum planning assessment and enrichment opportunities while mentoring colleagues and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
The Art department is well resourced with dedicated studio spaces and a strong culture of creativity and innovation. Senior leadership is highly supportive and committed to both academic achievement and the development of the creative arts.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Art with the ability to teach across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Proven record of strong student outcomes
Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Department role
