A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Premises Manager to join one of Middlesbroughs leading secondary schools ASAP. This is a full-time permanent position within a well-resourced and forward-thinking Estates Team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the daily management and maintenance of the schools site buildings and facilities. You will manage a small team of site staff coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You will also support school events ensuring the site is safe and ready for both academic and extracurricular activities.

Key responsibilities include:
Supervising site staff and coordinating daily tasks
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
Managing contractors and maintenance projects
Supporting school events and activities
Monitoring and maintaining building systems and grounds

Experience and Qualifications

Experience in site management premises supervision or caretaking
Practical knowledge of building maintenance security and health & safety procedures
Strong organisational leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead a small team
Professional proactive and approachable
